If everything was damaged then I would have agreed with a full refund (and return) , but only the accessories were, so it wouldn't be fair in my opinion for the seller to have to give a full refund and not have the items returned either. I don't think either of you want to go down that route though, right?
 I don't know the exact value of those broken accessories compared to the undamaged ponies as I'm not up to date with G2 prices. If both of you (buyer and seller) agree that 30% or 40% refund is fine then that sounds good to me. I'm glad that you are both working together to solve this :bigups:  :relaxed:

I know that some people are more picky with repaired or flawed/damaged  items than others are so each case is different depending on what kind of collector the buyer is. I personally don't mind repairing/restoring items so I would be happy with a partial refund. My hubby on the other hand likes his items perfect and so while he would repair rather than throw something out, if something arrived damaged due to the packaging not being secure enough he would want to return the item for a full refund  :awake:

WOW, please please USE BOXES for any items RARE as these !!

Sad loss for everyone involved and the Collector community as well, these 2 accessories are very hard to find loose and  intact/perfect   as they were before shipment, I bought these sets broken a while back ,It was a delight to see them being sold in their flawless fashion, I actually bought the 3rd  set from same seller,It was packaged in a  box, not very sturdy I have to say but they made it here in great shape here ,guess I was lucky they did not get damaged because there was for sure chances for damage in their flimsy box.
But  even collectors make mistakes sometimes ,Hope all of us learn from this sad episode . :( :( :( :( :(

Thanks everybody for helping.
I refunded about 35% of the total price (without shipping). As some of you said, there were the ponies in the lot and it is hard to value how much for the 4 ponies, how much for accessories.
I will be more careful for sure now.
