^^ What Ponylady said its a toughie. I do think after having the item so long and not checking (I mean really? you fork out over $200 for an item surely you are going to check it over right away??!! ) makes it seem like some kind of buyers remorse or he is just trying it on to make some money back possibly before selling for a bigger profit later. I wouldn't be surprised if this person damaged the card either intentionally or accidently - but like PL said its hard to prove. Do you think the item would be worth that value even with a damaged card or still possibly increase in value later? because if that is so then I might be tempted to tell him to send it back for a refund - not give him a partial. It's a big chunk of monies though *sigh* Maybe give ebay a phone call and explain the full situation to them and see what they say?
