How to remove the head and tail from a snow globe pony?

Picked up a spare Diamond Mint as she is the perfect color to do a custom of my sona Spring Damiana.
Questions.

1. What is the best way to remove the head?

2. How to take the tail out?
Now if It can't be done any other way I will resort to making her tail hole larger till I can remove the metal piece. The I will give her a sculpted bow around her tail as SD wears one anyway.

3. Has anyone rehaired these things yet?

Well got the head off. Just hot water and it popped off! Now to figure the tail out >.<

Tail is out!! Just pull and turn it will pop out!

This was my thought, too!  I was actually eyeballing these girls a couple days ago trying to figure out how someone could customize them.  Can't wait to see your finished work!

Well I saved the metal part from the original tail. I figure I can use it for the new one, if it came out I'm sure I can get it back in.

You might be able to do the tail the same way you can do a Dream Beauty.
But glad to know you can just pretty much yank out the tail XD
