huh? playset petite question!!! (now a variant question ;) )

I didn't realize this orange crayon variation was so uncommon. I thought most of the first series of Petites had 2 variations either with color or size of their symbols... they often get overlooked because their symbols are so tiny.

I haven't seen color/size variations of symbols very often at all...in any petites, and I've had a lot go through my hands over the years.
maybe the orange is more common than I'm thinking...I'd be curious how many people have seen/own the orange crayon

I have always known there are colour variations in the symbols - owned and seen a variety over the years as well as seen it mentioned. And while I agree there are certainly some that pop up much less often than others, I did also think it was just one of those things, as KKV mentions, over looked because not everyone collects and symbols are so small, often rubbed and also have a lot of variation in finished pigment colour.
