Update on job application - more help needed!

Can you have a look at this for me please? Does it make sense OK to you or do you think 'I can't tell what that's about?

The flowers of this South African Daisy feature dark spots with a raised, furry texture. 

The spots look remarkably like the plant's pollinator, a bee-like fly.  The flies are attracted to the flowers thinking they have found an opportunity to mate, but instead they pick up or drop off an unintended load of pollen, helping the plant to reproduce.

At the Department of Plant Sciences, researchers are working on exciting floral traits like this to find out how they grow and why they are useful to plants.  This will lead to a better understanding of the evolution and diversity of flowering plants towards protecting biodiversity and improving plant breeding methods.

Is each flower the same?  How many different patterns can you see?

Thanks everypony! The thing I like the most is that in one variant the spots vary in number from 1 to 4 between flowers.  So in a patch of daisies, there is a lot of variation. 

My interview went OK, I gave it my best shot!  And I got to see some original botanical watercolours by Henslow, mentor to Charles Darwin.  But there will probably be exceedingly stiff competition.

Well, they said they would write and let me know within 'a couple of days' but they haven't! Most employers I have interviewed with recently have all called me to let me know either way.   These people wanted to write, so, fine by me but it's now day 4.  I can only assume the news isn't good.  I really wanted this one    I wish I knew whether to give up hope!

It's not necessarily bad news. Lots of times when my boss has interviewed for positions she'd interview candidates but then something more pressing would monopolize her time so there'd be a delay in reviewing potential candidates with colleagues and getting back to people. Sometimes there wasn't time to follow up with the chosen candidate, or prospective candidates, until a week or two later.
