How do I make cloven hooves on a g4?

Cause I just picked up a bait to make Krampus on and I want him to have cloven hooves. So how would I go about doing this?

I haven't made one yet, but I guess using an x-acto/hobby knife and cutting a piece from the front would work. I hope someone with experience will answer this.

I would think you could notch it out, as Uninu suggested.  For more detail, you could sculpt furry hooves and create the notch in the clay then.

In my experience, G4 legs are almost completely solid around the hoof area, so you should be good to notch them out with a knife.  Even if you do end up getting a hole, you could always fill it back in with Sculpey or Apoxie Sculpt.  I've never cut into the fronts of hooves before, but several of my Mass Effect ponies had to have the backs of the back legs/hooves cut into in order to change leg shape or give them high heels and they were pretty solid
