It was lots of fun to design these ponies for the Halloween Coloring contest! I also had fun writing their backcard stories!  Let me know what you think!

Backcard story:
There’s nothing these twins like to do more than to sneak out after bedtime for a midnight game of Hide and Go Seek in the pumpkin patch across the freeway from their home. Be careful, little ones, and have fun!

Backcard story:
Can you guess what is Baby Mellocreme’s favorite thing about Halloween? The candy of course! The only thing he likes more than Trick or Treating is sharing his candy with all of the other fillies and colts at the Lullabye Nursery. Don’t forget to brush and floss, Baby Mellocreme!

Zombie Bait Sweetheart Sister Pony “Grave Booquet” (1st place, Division 1)

Backcard Story:
Grave Booquet was born on All Hallow’s Eve. She simply loves being active! Her favorite place to trot is around the Dream Valley Cemetery. Only this Halloween, she’ll be doing a lot more galloping than she anticipated when the dead begin to rise. Look out, Grave Booquet!

I love your style!   Reminds me of staring at the G1 backcard artwork as a kid wishing I had "that pony."  Beautiful!

Lol! Thanks! But I really like your entry- that's a G2, right? They are so under represented in art, I'm proud of you for choosing that generation! You also did a lovely job on illustrating the folds in the fabric of her cloak- no simple task!

What a great compliment! I love to design/paint ponies that Hasbro would have made if they had the time... I think these follow the style and spirit of the generation!

Thank you! Yes, it is a G2 You're right, there really aren't enough G2 pictures around -- which is partially why I chose it, I also just like them lol. It actually took me an embarrassingly long time to finish the picture

All three designs are wonderful, I love Grave Booquet with her creative symbol and backstory, and the twins are just adorable! I'd love to see them in custom form, their colours are so delicious. I especially like the white one with orange hair (Patches?). The night time scene is beautifully done, too!
