passing fan or maniac obsessed!!

I guess I would depend on who I asked. I know there are members here with much larger collections than me and to whom ponies are a much more important part of their lives but non-collectors, if I start talking about ponies or showed my pony shelves, might think I'm crazy obsessed.
 I feel I'm pretty moderate. I currently have 280-ish pony figures, I like to be knowledgeable of the toyline and show, I choose what I buy carefully and don't feel I need everything (only collect G4), I've seen every episode of FiM but some of them only once or twice, I like picking episodes apart occasionally but wouldn't say I'm emotionally invested, I wouldn't be devastated if G4 ended. I do visit the arena every day just about but I do have other hobbies, interests and priorities. I love ponies quite a lot  but I don't think I'm obsessed.

I have around 30 ponies from all generations and my collection is slowly growing, but I'm pretty sure it'd grow much faster if I weren't an university student lol. I also collect manga and only recently started collecting anime figures which is quite an expensive hobby. I'd been resisting them for so long, but one day decided to buy just one and one came after another and I've already made preorders Well, that's kinda like how pony collecting started; I was just going to find my lost childhood ponies, but discovered 3x more of new ones I want One is never enough!
So, comparing to other Arena members I'm still a newbie collector, but to my family and average person not into MLP I'm very enthusiastic to obsessed. I'm not sure how it is in US, but I don't see many people collecting unconventional stuff here, and even if they do their collections aren't that big. That's probably why my tiny collection is seen as something weird
