Can anyone ID this doll for me?
« on: November 06, 2014, 02:51:23 PM »
Hello

I was wondering if anyone could ID this doll for me. My father found her in a thrift shop and he can't seem to find any info about her.

If anyone has any information they could share that would be great. Also, he wants to know how much she is worth. He plans to list her on eBay but has no idea what her value is. He asked my opinion but I really am not sure, so I thought I would ask the dolls experts! ;)

I'm not an expert, but to me, this looks like the type of doll that was produced as a souvenir in the 1950s-1960s. This site describes the origins of those dolls: http://www.antiquetrader.com/columns/some_antique_dolls_worth_a_second_look  :)
