MLP Cameos? (new merch)

Not sure if there's been a thread about these cuties yet, I checked the first three pages of the Corral and didn't find any. Interesting new pony merch called MLP Cameos:

They're actually quite adorable. Each one has a unique mold that really showcases the pony's personality. Fluttershy looks shy, RD looks mischievous, Twilight looks contemplative!

The material is the same stuff the "Squishems" are made out of. A squishy, shiny rubbery material that smells like an oil slick. The paint details are actually very good, and on the back of each pony's ear is a stamp of their cutie mark. A nice touch!

Strangely, I found them for sale in Target in the Halloween section... I don't know why. They come in 'blind bags' so you can't tell which character you get, and each one comes in a square piece of protective plastic so you can't feel the bag to try to make out who is inside (the plastic also protects them from getting squished in shipping, though). They rang up at $1.50 each.

(If anyone has any duplicates they want to trade, I have extras of Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash. See photo above. And I just need Rarity left to complete my set! lol)

Those are cute! So are they pencil toppers? That's what the picture looks like.

Oh lucky!  They must be on clearance with the rest of the Halloween stuff since they had been $3 each.  I don't think there was a separate thread on them but they were mentioned in the Out Now & Coming Soon one.  There's a wiki page on them now: http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/G4_Cameos

I have a couple extra Pinkies myself.  I did find that the protective plastic pieces do have slightly different shapes; so, I was able to pick out which ones I was missing when I went back for more, but it's pretty difficult.

Whoa so they were on discount along with the other Halloween stuff? I didn't realize! Guess I should go back and pick up some more lol.

They do have a hole in the bottom so they can be pencil toppers, but I just put them on my display shelf. They display very nicely!

Yeah you lucked out!  I bought the only 2 they had at my Target a week or so ago for $3. (Unfortunately there were empty bags so someone obviously was there stealing them earlier. T_T)

If you don't end up getting a Twilight I'd be happy to trade mine for one of your Applejacks.

Those are so cute! I'd not seen them before, maybe I'll get lucky and see them in a store sometime and be able to luck out and get AJ and Flutter.

I've been looking for these with no luck, even in the Halloween sections. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough! Really want AJ and Rainbow for my armies.

I found those maybe a month or two ago, actually!  I lucked out and got all 6 and even some extras, and then I stopped seeing them around.
