Can anyone please tell me if this baby is even genuine?
She looks like all of the XL / pillow 3G pony plushies and she's even the same size, yet there's something different and kind of weird about her (her tongue for example ).

The main body, hair, and symbol all look like the official Hasbro release to me - I have a matching Toola that was bought new in the store at the time.  The forehead heart, hoof printing, and tongue (?!?) are definitely not normal though.  The embroidery on the leg doesn't appear on the official release either.    Were these images flipped?  Mine faces to her right, symbol embroidered only on the right, and only in teal. The eyes are very close but this one looks to have the pink heart embroidered over the other layers, while the original is all one piece and flat.

Could they have been made from factory extras, perhaps? Left over at the end of the production run, and bought up by another company to finish?  Seems like an oddly unpopular thing to knock-off from scratch.

Agreed! She's adorable with her tongue sticking out. It gives her a bit more personality. Even as a fakie, I think this was a great find.

That's what I thought of! Sometimes my cat leaves her tongue sticking out, and my dog used to do it, too. I kinda want one of these for that reason.
