G1 Metal Lunchbox?

I keep seeing this G1 metal lunchbox - is it newer or vintage?  I just thought the vintage ones were plastic.  Can anyone give me a good picture of it?

Yes that one!  Is it new or vintage?  If its new, where was it sold at?

To me its appears that it is vintage because if you look behind the G3 pony in the picture there's a matching thermos. Also if you look at the lunch box itself the image on it is of the original 6 ponies that Hasbro introduced. With that I would have probably say it came out before the plastic ones did. Since the newer MLP (like G4 and vintage style one like in the link) metal lunch boxes usually don't come with a matching thermos. Also while trying to look up more info on it I found this type of newer G1 lunch box if you like this one http://www.loungefly.com/my-little-pony-retro-ponies-with-rainbow-lunchbox.html several sites had it listed for sale.

I'm pretty sure it's a newer "retro" item.  I don't believe there are any vintage metal G1 lunchboxes.   Little-kid lunchboxes were plastic at that point in time.

EDIT:

It's DEFINITELY a retro item because it has the "block letter" MLP logo, not the "curly letter" MLP logo that would have been around in the early years of G1.
