is it just me or does it seem like most g4 collectors either style their ponies to be 'show accurate' or just don't style them at all?I feel like whenever I see a pic of a g4 pony their hair is still in that factory twist thing hasbro does, sometimes it's even still banded to their leg. or if it's not that, their hair is just wild and crazy. I'm not trying to be negative about it but I just can't help but notice that more and more whenever I see pix of g4 ponies. I mean, people can do whatever they want of course, it's their ponies. but to me, having some sort of style or at least washing and brushing out their hair is one of the best parts of collecting ponies.anyone else notice this?
I stopped taking my G4 brushables out of their boxes because I hate dealing with their hair. I have all of the FS ponies out of their boxes, and I just washed their hair and that was it. Some of the hairstyles are just a bit too much for me to try and make them look accurate ("mane-ly" Rarity. See what I did there?! ).I may attempt to do their correct hairstyles on the giant, ponyzilla dolls. It does annoy me to see frizzy hair, or hair that has been cut to the point of just looking terrible. I'm not so picky about that, but it doesn't hurt to just wash and wrap the hair around the leg at the very least.
