It's funny that you started this thread, hubby and I saw a preview for the new movie and talked about how we thought the new version of the turtles almost makes them look frightening compared to what we grew up with.

I actually laughed my butt off when I first saw the trailer, it's like 'Middle Aged Mutant Ninja Turtles - Now On Steroids'! : :lmao:

Well legally your a teenager until your 21 in the us.. so they could be 18 or 19 thats still teenaged.
I thought they looked good.. i mean the four foot tall ones were cute but these looked like the could go head to head with armed men and come out in one piece
its a good flick.. not the most brain stimulating but a good laugh and a lot of fun.

Just wanted to say that over the past couple days I have had a Ninja Turtles marathon. Borrowed the dvd set from a friend. I watched 1, 2, and 3. I was a little worried because I haven't seen them in so long that I might find them too cheesy but I fell in love all over again. I think the original will always be my favorite but I am going to keep an open mind and watch the new one. I can get over their ugliness if it is a good movie. :)

As someone else said...the cartoon on Nick is also a very entertaining show.

When me and my little bro were young we loved TMNT!!!! :lovey: and now funnily enough, my 9 year old daughter really likes them too! Even though she is into pink fluffy glittery princesses fairy dolls and barbie on the flip side she adores wearing her favourite grey TMNT  onesie that her grandad bought her.

Oh and one of her fave books is a battered old TMNT book that used to be my brothers ^.^
Thanks to SDS for my siggy and avi
