i have made several purchases from ebay users in china, and it really can take the full 40 work days to show up, so don't despair if it takes quite a while. i'm sure you could just ask for your money back if you mention that you would prefer it over re-sending the plush. if seller refuses to refund you or you never end up receiving a plush, you could always just open up a case on ebay over it. you have to be careful, though, since you only have so much time to open a case from the time you first order your item.

I agree that it can take a long time for items to arrive from China. Just hold out a little longer. But make sure you keep an eye on your window for opening a case!

With China purchases, I usually wait 44 days (actual days, not work days) and then open a case just in case, which freezes their funds, but if they've shipped it's no biggie really. Then it *should* turn up during the 10 days of the case, if not, it probably 'ain't comin', so escalate and get your refund. I have had the odd thing come after, and then I just re-sent the funds through paypal with a note apologising and the ebay item number for their records.

Opening a case earlier (except on confirmed scammers) is sometimes considered rude and will get you blocked by some sellers. Chinese mail unfortunately takes ages - and ebay's estimated postage times are a ball of rubbish!

This is great advice from Stormness. I couldn't have told you what to do any better.  :)

I've had some doozies... 50 days, 60+ days, things I got refunds for and then one day, months later, came meandering into my PO box... It does happen, unfortunately with China and Asia in general, to be honest. I have family who get a lot of stuff shipped back and forth to/from India/Sri Lanka, and they have the same issues, albeit mostly due to official corruption and bribed packages getting through faster and slowing everything else down.

China is hit and miss. Sometimes I've had items arrive in 2 weeks or less, other times ..it can take way over a month.
I'm very glad that your plush finally arrived though Luna  :cheer:  :newpony:
