Baby Hopscotch and UK diaper box question

Anyone has a picture of a MOC Baby Hopscotch or knows what the colours of her ribbon and bottle were? I believe it was a pink bottle and pink ribbon but would like confirmation on this and it would be great to see a photo if possible.

I also received a pony and accessory lot from the UK which were the seller's childhood collection and 2 of the 3 diaper boxes were the yellow Diaper ones - I thought only the Snugfit boxes were used in the UK, can anyone shed some light on this?

Afraid I can't help on the Hopscotch question, however with regard to the diaper/nappy boxes question, I *think* only the Snugfit boxes were used in UK issued ponies, however, there is also the possibility that not all their childhood collection came from within the UK itself - mine didn't, and we did have a yellow diaper box from somewhere. Although, come to think of it, I have no idea who that came with.

What ponies came in the lot?

The ponies in Baby Hopscotch's set were Baby Cherries Jubilee, Baby Lemon Drop in the alt pose, Baby Honeycomb, Baby Buttons, and . . . uhhh, I want to say Baby Cotton Candy?  I'm not sure about that last one.

Well, anyway, maybe you can tell the ribbon color from the backcard?  If it's accurate.  (Looks like pink.)

No, she wasn't released in the UK, and I think the boxes were in German (but Baby Hopscotch didn't have one anyway). I thought it was two unrelated questions?

However, hot pink is ringing a bell from somewhere. Can't remember if mine is wearing a ribbon or not.

As to the accessories, yes it was a pink ribbon but it was a yellow trimmed bottle.

The nappy boxes are a bit like everything in the UK; we were supposed to get the snugfit boxes and the vast majority do have those but I have seen the US style diaper boxes turn up on occasion with UK releases. However they are the exception to the rule and I think I  have only ever come across it once or twice. If I remember correctly this was mainly with the few UK twins sets - i.e. later released sets. So many UK releases around the middle years [post US release ponies and pre Euro exclusive ponies] seem to have been subject to being packed with left overs perhaps because of production. The diaper boxes would never have worked here after all as its such an American word, its just not used. So they would never have been deliberately released, perhaps unless they ran out of what was supposed to have been included. There is also always the option that someone bought ponies in the US and then came back to the UK with them or they were purchased as a present from overseas and sent here.

As to the rest of Europe most of their releases had the same UK snugfit style boxes but were translated to the appropriate language - they come in German, Italian, Spanish and French that I can remember...there may be others but I dont have the notes to hand sorry!

LadyGuinevere, what's weird is that I've had the same boxes appear in UK lots in the past but knowing for sure that this particular group came from someone's childhood collection raised my curiosity! The lot included baby Cotton Candy (I'm almost certain the Snugfit box belongs to her), Baby Lemon Drop (with the beach towel), and there were a couple of Nursery items as well and I believe Baby Buggy's puffy sticker.

Hathorcat, thank you so much for the detailed info as that explains quite a bit. The lot included ponies from that period such as Honeycomb and some later Grooming Parlour name tags, I also agree with the possibility of them being purchased abroad but good to know there were some exceptions. As for Baby Hopscotch, is her ribbon the same shade as her mom's? Doesn't Baby Buttons also come with a yellow trimmed bottle? Here's what I know about this set (correct me if I'm wrong):

Baby Cotton Candy: Yellow ribbon, green bottle
Baby Cherries Jubilee: Green/Yellow ribbon, aqua bottle
Baby Lemon Drop: White ribbon, purple bottle
Baby Honeycomb: Purple ribbon, blue bottle
Baby Buttons: Light blue ribbon, yellow bottle

I'm sorry if I confused you but I was asking about two separate things and decided to open a single thread for both questions. It's odd that Baby Honeycomb was made available in Germany when her mom was never sold there - or was she? Love your tumblr btw!

Looks like we have the same references except for a couple. I will admit I would not be surprised if there were possibly of being a touch of variety in accessory colours. Although not common it also is not the only time there would have been a repeat in colour of accompanying accessories within sets which were later than the first 1-4 years.

Thank you again Hathorcat for all the valuable information, I purchased the set from a close friend with a group of bottles that previously belonged to the same person but needed to be sure I'm matching them correctly so this was very helpful
