BUCK in Manchester or Ponycon in Leicester?

Depend what you look. If you want to enjoy the 4 gens, more peaceful-familiar place and focusing a bit more in the collector world, the Ponycon is for you.  If you only like the G4 and want more ``craziness``the Buck is for you.  For the title of your post imagine that you like more the BUCK than the Ponycon

But the two are very fun and wonderful cons to visit :p

Well I would always vote Pony Con.

I guess it depends; are you interested in all generations or only really care about G4? You really need to decide for yourself which you would most enjoy.

Pony Con is inclusive of fans who like all generations - whether you only like G4, only like G1 or like them all. You will feel welcomed there no matter what.

BUCK is a G4 only - and mainly the show - convention. I am sure you will enjoy it and I know there are vendors who will feature earlier generations but 99.9% of the convention is about FiM.

The Con committee have been posting about it in the Corral Check out any of the threads about the UK Pony Con - tickets have just gone on sale.

Unlike BUCK, which seems to be entrenched in Manchester, Pony Con moves around the country it means more people can attend. For example last year was Cardiff, the year before that Nottingham and so on. We wont know where next year is until the committee make their decisions early next year.
