No they are all original. The boy has a factory sealed head. I am 99.9 percent sure it's all original.
The pink boy and green boy that I had in the past had thick hair like him too.

Interesting. Not too surprising I guess that we get variety even in hair types within this country - quality and regularity of production was not their strong point

He is great and that gang of baby ponies is very cute. I'm sure I recall seeing two purple daddies with the different colours of hair.
