Hmm, well the top girl (whose name eludes me right8 now XD) seems like she might have a little bit of tail rust inside, so if I were you my priority would be getting that cleaned out before it gets any worse.

As for Ringlets, I would start off with a nice warm wash, and leave in some conditioner in her hair overnight. Repeat that again and give it a good brush, and her hair should become much easier to handle ^_^
Thank you Lindsay1988 for this beautiful Sig!  :lovey:

You may want to try magic eraser on both for some stray marks. Both are more than likely OK for sun fading if there's any discoloration.
Great Hair ringlets would look fantastic with some crimping and I agree a inside body clean.
I would try straw curls on the other ringlets. :o)

Top pony - Ringlets. I completely agree with the idea of getting that tail rust dealt with first. The crimp in the hair is chemically created so a wash, hot water/shampoo/etc, will not remove it. However over brushing - basically stretching the hair again and again - will. And I am guessing that is probably what has happened here. In order to restore some crimp you can do old fashioned braiding - you will need to do lots and lots of teeny tiny pleats in her hair [as though you are giving her corn rows :P]. Make sure the hair is damp when you do this then pour boiling water over them. Allow it to air dry - leave the braids in much longer than you expect them to need to dry. Remove braids. You will not get the perfect original crimp that she had originally but you will get a similar idea. Remember that her original crimp is very tight and therefore you need to make the braids small. Try and tie each braid at the end with thread rather than wrapping an elastic band as the latter will make an impression in the hair which the thread will not.

Bottom pony - Raincurl - she can have her hair done with good old fashioned straw curls. Here is Jupiterlily's awesome tutorial - http://www.mlparena.com/archive/Forums//viewtopic/t=88983/start=0.html

Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
