Lot of ponies returned to me six months later???BUYER FOUND!

I got home from work and found a beat up box on my porch with return to sender on it from someone in Argentina. It was a lot of ponies sold late last year. I never got any notice of non delivered item on ebay from any members so am not sure what to do now. Can I access my records on paypal since the ebay auction is past 90 days? This is so strange and I'm not sure what to do as this is a first for me??  Anyone else have this issue and how did you resolve it??

Unlike ebay, paypal will store comprehensive history of your transactions. An address search should help you manage to track down the original transaction.

How odd that your original buyer did not let you know; hopefully you will be able to get to the bottom of the issue.

Nothing comes up on paypal even with the extended history. I have no feedback as a seller from then either except from the other buyer in Canada. I'll have to dig through my email and see if anything shows up there. The sticker just has "unknown' checked off. Also, who flips the bill for the return shipment?? They left the box with me. I don't know much about returned parcels.

If they just left the box with you, then you don't have to pay anything. If you end up re-sending it to the buyer again, you (or the buyer) would have to pay shipping again.

I'd contact the buyer and see what's up - maybe their address is wrong, or they moved. Really weird that they didn't contact you about it though! You think they'd want their ponies.

Maybe it was from a swap or trade? That could explain the lack of info in PayPal...

Good news!! Went back over my emails from ebay and contacted the buyer from Argentina that had won a lot from me. Easy as I only sold 4 lots at the time. They were surprised and relieved that parcel came back to me as it turns out the customs over there are terrible and have been stealing mail!! Buyer had just assumed they were gone forever or stolen by customs. She asked me if I'd be willing to hold them 'til October when she gets a verified US address to have them shipped to and not have the same thing happen again. I accepted of course. They were an intended gift for buyers sister. Glad I got this solved quickly and that some ponies were spared from pony limbo.

Yeah, her sister will be in Miami in October so the ponies will be sent to her for safe arrival. At least she won't have to worry about the customs problems this time!
