Holy cow!! Where in the world did you find her, Scythe? Does this clear up as to whether she was initially made this way or that they're faded? Her bubble seems yellowed from sunlight...gah! Please tell us more and MOAR!!

She was in an eBay lot with two other MOC ponies.

yep, on eBay in a lot, hehe!  (Also, thanks to everyone who PM'd me going 'did you see this?! Isn't this one of those odd ones?'!) I emailed the seller(tbh, I was a bit of a pest!) and all he knew was he got them in a box from an auction.  I think the only way there'll ever be firm proof one way or another on the faded/error issue would be finding a pic from the 80's of a MOC one, tbh, but a MOC one does seem to make factory error of some sort more likely.

It also explains why it's only common with her and windy, to me:  finding her MOC means this particular version was released between the FF ones and 'year 2', which included windy.  To me, that makes it more likely that the 2 issues are connected, and it also helps explain why there are so few of the odd Bluebelles, since the CF version was real eased so many times as MO ponies.

Oh! And is it in American packaging? Did he say he got it in the States?

The pride of my collection is actually (normal?) Italian Bluebelle. She's amazingly beautiful. I should get a picture. WHY DONT I HAVE A PICTURE. Haha, let me get a picture
