How often do you make a custom just for you?

several each year  - if it's not a commission or a swap, it's a custom that I either plan on keeping or will be happy keeping if it doesn't sell

Ummmm, I dunno! I am working on a gothic Rarity for myself (add that to the 10+ customs I have have 1/3 finished that are supposed to be mine). I think I have three that need rehairing.  I have made custom dolls for myself recently so don't weep for me I got 'pony customizer's block' for a while there and wasn't making much of anything for anyone.

Most customs I make are for me. Asides from swaps, the single commission I ever did and a handful of gifts, every one I've made is sitting here. There are 20 finished and a lot more in various stages of WIP.

Never, really.  There are some I can't let go after finishing them, but I never set out to keep them.  I usually only customize for the Fair, so I plan to sell everything I do.
