New Multi-Pack Funrise Plush

So we have seen these turn up on Funrise stands since last years German Toy Fair. To date the sets have always been empty except with some cardboard cut outs - although the cardboard cut outs have suggested some more exciting combinations than this one [already released plushies].

I am presuming they are opening stock with ponies which they know are popular and that retailers will pick up. And perhaps later we will see more interesting selections.

This one is being touted as a "TRU exclusive" with an "exclusive Octavia 5 inch character" I have no idea why as she has already been out. The only thing which is possible is that the promo shot will be replaced with "rainbowfied" versions of the plush because it is also part of the "Rainbow Power" line. Its something like that...or I am missing something really obvious.

A rainbowfied Octavia may be the only thing that could actually make her a real "exclusive".

...that or they hope regular customers aren't aware that 5-inch Octavia is already out. xD

Yeah, I was about to say--I've seen an Octavia plush before, so not really "exclusive."

I've seen this 5-inch box set multiple times in my local TRU in canada...? I didn't know it was special.
I've also seen loose Octavia.

Its something Funrise have been promising but that never seemed to eventuate.

I've seen 5inch Octavia in TRU, out of that box set,but not anywhere else as of yet.
But that could just be because we are super slow to get new things here.

I've seen that set at our TRU in Windsor as well, hubby spotted Octavia when we were at Walmart 3 weeks ago, and I could've sworn that we also spotted her at HMV 2 months ago.

Well bang goes the theory they exclusivity was due to it being Canadian only. Hmmm....

The only thing is it does seem to be turning up in Canada only but the inclusion of the "exclusive" pony is very odd !
