questioning a ebayer before buying. help

so i found several audiobooks i want to purchase from a seller on ebay.
the prices are super good. in fact too good.
i asked what format they were and they said they were conventional cds.

i know that the music and audio industry is pretty easy to copy and sell bootlegs of etc.
i do really want the books for my personal library, but i don't know what kind of questions to ask to make sure they are legit.
if i won them for the price they are now, it would be under 20$ with shipping included for 10 audiobooks. that's a ridiculously good price.
for someone who obsesses over audios more than ponies... i know. but i just can't figure how he can charge so little for them.
and he's got tons of titles.

any suggestions?

eBay banned the sale of bootlegs and copies, worst case scenario if you buy them you have an immediate claim case to get your money back, not that it helps to get the titles you want. I know some are expensive and stay that way even used.. I had a ton of Adventures in Odyssey audios for my kids that the ex misplaced- and they still cost $20+ per set to replace!

If you're at all unsure of what your seller's response was, I would ask for clarification. If you don't receive a clear reply regarding the legality of the CD and its contents then you've got your answer! Remember, there are an awful lot of CDs containing rare and previously unissued material (both studio and live tracks) on legitimate, legal reissue labels so you may find your suspicions are unfounded. If this is the case, the seller will generally be more than happy to give you a straight answer.

so i asked if he any pictures of the audiobooks, cuz i know they come in cases, or at least i thought they did.

his reply was.
"not really"
and he didn't answer my question about the one book that wasn't released yet.
was curious if it was a british or foreign release.
