This is so sad to hear. I remember the name from the early days when I was a lurker. Thank you for sharing the news as upsetting as it is. May he rest in peace. I hope heaven is full of the rarest ponies (and Cappage Patch Kids in his case too )

Steamer and I used to talk almost every day back in the day on Dream Valley chat and then later on yahoo and various messangers in the early days of me being online. He was one of my first online pony collecting friends. I also attended Pony Polooza and met him there.

He was a very kind person and it's sad to see that he died, never expected to hear this about him.
