Price Check on Dazzleglow

I only want her because she is a unicorn and that probably has an effect on how much I'm willing to pay for her.  I got Star Glow when I was little and she is lovely. Her symbol is weird but I still like her quite a bit.

Just wondering, when it comes to umbrellas, is Parasol the only other pony in G1 with an umbrella symbol or am I wrong?

Sorry I am going off topic here so I'll maybe make a new thread tomorrow, but... is Star Glow the only G1 with an instrument (piano) cutie except Music Time (triangle)... also there seems to be no music related baby in G1 at least the standard USA and UK releases amiwrong?

Technically there is no such thing as a wrong price for a G1 - a pony could be worth $5 to someone and $50 to someone else.

I always cringe a little at threads which question how high something goes for. Not specifically threads like this...but there have been some in the past which I know must embarrass any buyer from ever admitting they owned the pony which was won. And I have been in that situation where people have perhaps been giggling and exclaiming over bidding wars or newbie buyers and unfortunately it was just me being happy to pay more than average for a pony. But it takes the shine off a little bit when you think other people think you are silly.

As for her price $25-28 would be a good price for her but if she has unfaded hair and you get a couple of people interested she can indeed go higher.

Quackers/Baby Quackers and Baby Rainfeather have umbrellas...although accompanied by a duck of course.

And off the top of my head - there is Baby Drummer, Daisy Dancer and Player with musical instruments. I am probably forgetting some others but its getting late and I am sleepy

Ah yes, Daisy Dancer! She's really cool. The other ponies you mention are of course really cool too, thanks for these!

By the way I payed £22 for Blumenglockchen because I just love her so much a) I had to buy her ASAP and b) they said she was nm and I while I do have ponies with flaws I wanted her with no flaws. She was one of the first ponies on my wish list because I just think she's so beautiful. So again it's personal choice. I've noticed pony prices go up but they also go down too. Watching the market is a large part of the fun for some people and that's cool but at the end of the day it's a unique combination of things like personal choice as well as the  estimated market value that will dictate the price of a sale. There are so many considerations. And I also don't begrudge someone who can afford ponies at the top of the market that's life. That said, I must admit I can't help wishing sometimes that people would give me certain G1s to restore rather than customising them, or leaving them slung in a box, or putting them on ebay with astronomical BIN prices but that's life too and deep down I do agree that if it's your pony, it's your choice.

I feel like Dazzleglow is a pony that is a lot more complicated than I originally thought.

Dazzleglow is a very complicated pony and one worthy of collecting, if for no other reason then the body color variations.
The pink heart version does have either blue or aqua hair, I have never in all my years of collecting seen the blue hair variation with the blue hearts.  As you can see the body materials can range from pink to purple.  There can also be a very wide difference in some of the heart placement in both versions.  I have seen them really thin or really thick

So many Dazzleglows! Thanks for sharing

I prefer the more opaque GnS's myself. The body color is brighter and richer.

*edit* I thought I would share also.. While my Dazzleglow is a transparent red-pink, she has aqua hair. Happyglow also has the aqua or blue variations and mine is quite opaque and has the blue hair variation.

Dang, that's the nicest Dazzleglow I've seen yet!

So in the photo with them all lined up what is the difference between the two on the far right? I'm not seeing anything obvious, what am I missing?
