Hot Topic Order

I placed an order a few hours ago at Hot Topic...I made this order over the phone. I got a confirmation number and the person told me they would send an email but I have yet to receive an order confirmation email which I find really strange since normally you get those right away. Has anyone had this problem before?? Should I try to contact them or is this normal??

I havent ever ordered from them so I cant be 100% sure how they work, but perhaps give them a day or so incase they have had to put through a lot of orders and are delayed in sending out the confirmation emails. If nothing shows up then its worth giving them a call just to make sure
I think there are others here who have bought from them before though so hopefully they will post here and let you know their experience too

Yes. Nothing in my spam folder either. I have the confirmation number..but would feel better if I had an email or something. I am guessing maybe they won't send anything until it is shipped??? Or at least packed??

I would give them 24-48 hours. If you don't see an email by Monday morning, I would give them a call again saying you have a confirmation number, but no email from them.

I ended up making my last order with them over the phone.  I was given both an order number and a confirmation number over the phone but never received any email until they shipped.

Thanks Breyer! That makes me feel a lot better...I was getting worried cause I ordered a Big Mac vinyl because I seen they were "almost gone".......so I want to make sure I get him. Thanks for your input everybody

You'll get the confirmation email at shipping Especially if it's coming out of their Tennessee distribution center. The people that take the orders send the information upstairs to the packers, and once the box is ready they scan it and the confirmation emails head out. (yeah I used to work for them ). If you don't have it by Tuesday afternoon, I'd call but they're really good about getting phoned in orders out quickly.
