HTML help, formatting, no idea how to do it

I have NO idea how to do this but on my site I want it so the text is ALL on the white area of the page (the photos are fine where they are) I have no idea how to even look up HOW to do it! Help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hmm... looks to me that the text area is set too wide in comparison to the background. Let me see if I can figure anything out.

Looks like you need some CSS to contain that text, but im rusty.  Kiwi should beable to help out <3

Maybe this wil work:

<DIV style="position:absolute; top:100px; left:100px;>text</DIV>

The numbers are in pixels,but you can use percentages.
It fixes the text in a position.

hmmmm it works in preview but when i publish it, it still doesnt work! how weird
