Has anyone, as far as we know, taken a cancerous pony and a non cancerous pony and examined them on a microscopic level?

Awesome! I wonder if my moms work (she's a lab tech in a medical clinic) would let me keep little slides in their various storage overnight to see what causes them to grow...

I love experiments  so, once I have finances to ship really sick ponies to me and get a microscope that I can hook up to my computer (I have terrible eye sight) I'll start finding out more.
