Lily Lightly - Can I Dedress?

So I found another (this will be #3) Lily Lightly at Thrift a few weeks ago.

She's in okay condition.  Would I be committing atrocities if I cut her dress off?

She's not HTF is she?

I'm interested to know this too a I recently acquired one and would love to get her cleaned up- but I assume her gown is attached so that her lights work, so no?

Of course you can!  I loved her symbol so when I found one with a mangy dress I cut it off.  She still works too!    This was years ago, but I just remember cutting on the wires leading to her dress.  All her internal wiring was left in place so she still blinks and lights up.

Ok.  Just saying.  This one is not mangy.  I'd venture to say she hasn't really been played with at all.

I thought about "extracting" the wires, not cutting them.  maybe

Cut away!  I don't think she is remotely rare as I even have a factory prototype/sample version of her- mib- and it was only like $12 or something.

I agree with Skeen and Galactica. She is not hard to find and neither is she particularly sought after. And for those reasons I would restyle her with no worries at all

I just found her secondhand for my daughter. I think she's pretty neat when she lights up, reminds me of princess sparkle!
