Meh, good question; I've got a Braided Beauty with the same problem.  ;)
Nirvana grails:  Reverse Gusty (upgrade), Peru Windy and Moonstone (upgrade), Brazil TAF upgrades, Argie Powder w/ white hair (upgrade), French Windy and Moondancer (upgrades), Spain TAF's, TE's, and piggies.  These are my biggest wants, but I'm looking for tons more nirvanas, especially Greeks, Brazilians, and Peruvians.  Feel free to PM me for sales or trades.  But please note that I'm also fairly picky.

Here you go - http://www.alaska.net/~jnoble/sailaway/spa/BNGRepair.html

Have you glued the bead at the plug back on? That is unfortunately what holds the head in place and without that its not going to stay on.

Oh :( That could be the problem unfortunately. Did it maybe break off when the body and head were being taken apart? Without it there is no way to keep the head on while also making the mechanism work. I am so sorry!

Is it possible to use something else as a replacement?

If you can find something of the same size and that you can reattach neatly then yes you can use a replacement. But its a very distinct shape and size and needs to clip in in order to hold the head on. Its worth a go to see what can be tracked down though for certain.

I might just use a basic tacky adhesive to keep the heads on for display purposes, I wish I had a mold of the little bugger cuz then I could just sculpt a new one! Ugh xP
