Hi there! I have been looking for a Jack Frost doll and havnt found a mass produced one. So after looking at some beautiful disney doll customs made by lulemee on the internet, I have decided I would love to make a custom Jack (from the Dreamworks Gaurdians movie) to go along my Elsa dolls! I think Jack x Elsa are the cutest couple ever and my Elsa doll looks lonely and needs a boyfriend! I have some ideas set aside on how to make him, I was thinking what kinds of boy doll bodies I could bait! Id like him to look as accurate as possible as far as his face shape. The only thing I can find close is a beach Ken doll at Walmart. He is older looking and er... buff but I guess.... could work? Since that Ken is so tan I was thinking of sunfading to lighten the skintone but the dolls are made up of different types of plastic so it may not lighten evenly. For clothes, I have an old blue shirt I could make use with a doll jacket pattern and use white glitter glue for the frosty design. Pants, I could always get an outfit pack and cut the jeans up! xD I am also planning on using probably hi polymer clay for his wood stick and maybe his hair if his hair would be too hard to root into Jack's hair texture since its so short. I have rooting tools, acetone, finishing gloss, all kinds of glues, glue guns, a zillion types of paint, baking clay, prismacolor colored pencils, pastels to use for the face, eyeshadow brushes, all kinds of materials I could use to help make him!
My main thing is I cant seem to find a type of doll that best suits Jack's slender figure! I only know a few types of guy dolls like MH, Ken dolls, EAH, and Disney Prince dolls. A lot of people here show pictures of types of dolls I have never even seen before, so I need your help to find the perfect bait! Could a... girl doll work too? Also, if any mass produced Jack dolls do exist Id like to know so I wouldnt have do to a custom, although custom dolls sound so fun!
