Thanks for the link Galactica! I don't have cable so I can't support the show directly so I'm glad it looks like someone will be putting it on youtube.

I had watched a couple of teaser clips, I love the unicorns, especially Onchao. However, I really dislike the whole real-life into a CGI-animated world thing. It really bothers me. Especially since the CGI isn't realistic (which I expect since it's just a TV show).
And I hope the show isn't this pitched. I think it was pitch-edited to avoid issues with youtube as some people do but it bothers me justtt a bit.

Honestly though- I watched it and it is remarkably... erm... well.... shall we say, aimed at a very young crowd?   Mostly it's just pretty.

I don't actually care if it is idiotic though, if the kids like it than maybe the merch will follow!  I am hoping the prices of the unicorns are a tad cheaper in the U.S...

I got back from Münich yesterday, and I have Wind with me.

I'm really tired but I just wanted to share my impressions of her. The figure over all is very nice. Her body is in a much more blue hue than I expected, and I haven't opened her yet but it seems like the glitter is embedded and wont come off - and it's also all over her body. What can't really be seen in the product photo with her mane in tight curls is that it's actually white and blue in sections.

The price was €29.99 which is definitely steep for such a cheaply manufactured toy, but as obsessed as I am with unicorns and as uncomfortable I am with flights, I'm still happy that I've treated myself with this figure.

Congrats! I love that one, looks like the last unicorn.  I hope the horses come to the US (and that the price drops a bit)
