Why do you love g3 / What do you love about g3 ? :)

I love G3 because it is similar to G1 without being too hard to find or extremely expensive. they still look like horses and have a lot of variety. I love the FiM show, but as Rainbow Dash said earlier, I don't like the art style with the giant head and eyes, and they don't really look like horses. So I have some G1's, and they will always have my heart, but G3 is my happy compromise.

The variety in terms of poses and characters (up to a point) is superb, and the cartoons are great for sitting down after a stressful day and watching something simple and sweet. Also, G3 had some really cool playsets!

G1 is my favourite generation. But G3 out of all the other gens comes the closest to replicating what G1 was all about. Its got variety of characters, lovely colour combinations, imaginative symbols and creative sets and names. The ponies look the most like ponies or as close as G1 comes anyway. Its just a lovely collection of ponies.

This exactly.  They are second only to G1 in my book.  G2s are cute, but they never reminded me of the originals.  G4s are cute too, especially the fashion style ones, but they lack variety.

Ok what do I love about G3 ponies. Well I love them first of all cause they are what got me back into pony collecting back in 2003. I could not believe my eyes when I first saw them in the store. I love all there colors and all the different poses and ponies that came out them years they were in the stores. It was fun to go to the store every few weeks and find new ones on the shelves. I was not able to keep up with all of them of course. And I was not so lucky to be able to get all the TRU ones.
Was pretty sad to see that day when they came to an end and the core 7 came out.

I love the variety and all the vivid color palettes.  I also appreciated how easily accessible they are.

G3 is what I grew up with! So obviously they're my favourite. The variety and colour palettes and creativity is great, but it's their poses and EYES that do it for me!

My favorite G3s are the art ponies and other "special edition" ones. I feel like the design of the G3s lends itself well to showcasing the different themes such as superhero and underwater.
