Question about the G2 McDs

Hey guys, recently I bought a battered G2 McDs Silver Swirl that needs a bit of TLC.. however I'm confused about one thing.

What is the deal with the TA screw in this pony? (I had to look it up because I really didn't know the name for it)
What happens if one manages to get it unscrewed?

I think its that as well. They split apart dont they? I always assumed that is what its therefore...could be wrong though

I'm really not sure, I need that kind of screwdriver to open it up and see... but since there is only 1 screw I thought it was odd

there might be glue involved as well and that is the tricky part I think, the plastic type is kinda breakable

I don't mind though it will take a while because of the glued seams.. but I enjoy taking things like this apart that are not meant to be taken apart
