They could have made them out of some really cool swirl colored plastic.. It would have been really neat.
So true.. Making the celestial ponies for their anniversary aka doing something both old and new at the same time would have been GENIUS!

When I first saw them I thought they looked like they were made from swirly pearlised plastic. They would have looked awesome! Sad that Hasbro didn't make them

I know it's not exactly Nirvana but given what the UK produced later in the line I think it would quite fitting
