Need Seller Help Please, Are Brazil Posts Still Closed?

Hi,
  I was advised maybe I could find some help here. I won and paid for a baby pony from Brazil seller with good feedback on 3/2. I noticed it was shipped so late 3/5 I messaged them, they responded on 3/7 saying the posts are closed for holiday and she would be shipped next Friday when they reopen? Are the Brazil Posts still closed?

I wrote them back and said I was confused cause auction didn't mention it and the carnival was over on 3/5, and have heard nothing back.

The item had been relisted many times, but this last time it was as an auction and I won it for opening bid, which was $20 lower than their original asking price, so I am afraid I won't see my pony or items?

Any thought or advice would be great?

its true they are closed, I only know because my husbands parent's live there and they went to post us an item on friday but couldn't, they have to wait another 5 working days before they reopen.
Just for the record Carnival can go on for weeks, brazilian know how to party ; )

Okay thank you so much nhal039, very good to know!!  Still can't believe they didn't put it in their auctions that they couldn't ship for 2 weeks, says 1 day :/ I shall see her someday LOL

maybe its not really common knowledge and that maybe in the past the post services would still run? I am just questioning it cause I know that my husbands parents didn't know about it and they weren't every impressed by it either : )

I am sure it will be worth the wait thou... oh I know who you won... congrats I am very jealous, I meant to bid but I completely forgot with the crazy days I have been having :  ) I have brought from that seller before she was really good so I am more than sure you will be happy when you finally get that pink little girl

He he, I need the blanket, so I have been stalking her and then decided I could afford the shipping that low, but shocked I won her for it! They turned down my original offer which was higher, so was tickled to giver her and her things a good home, I can resell mine. They finally wrote back and said they are in a small town with one post!

ha nothing wrong with small towns we only have one post here too ; ) ha well my in laws are in a much bigger town but there postal services are closed too so I think its every where

If you want to get rid of you spare baby just let me know

Is the seller isaiah8891?  I know him well; he's good, don't worry.    Yeah, that pony's been relisted quite a few times; he probably forgot to change the shipping info.
