Sybarite?

Anyone like them? Anyone have one?

I just discovered them fairly recently-  the faces are often not pretty at all, and yet somehow compelling.  The fashions are stunning.  Unfortunately, they are quite pricey...

I had to Google them, myself. :P
More cherry-research must be done on these dolls....

They're resin fashion dolls-  they are ball jointed, 16" tall-  https://www.facebook.com/superdoll.london

Here are some pix from their facebook page :D

Some of the accessories are really amazing... (shoes, bags, furniture, jewelry) but the pricing is similar to high end bjds, so not really a "catch them all" kind of doll :)  Still I like them...

I want one very much!  But I really don't have a safe place to display her and I wouldn't want to force her to stay in a box.  Plus, it needs to be THE doll because I just can't get more than one.  And the price tag is dizzying... so it will be a long time before I buy.

I do like how they kind of look... powerful.  I wouldn't want to cross any of these dolls.

The Toybox Philosopher did a review of one.  She makes the doll sound amazing.

They're not of a style that I would personally collect, but I think they're gorgeous nonetheless.

It's funny, for a long time I'd assumed that they were porcelain rather than resin - something about them just looks more granular to me, I suppose.

I haven't thrown my doll money at the dolls yet-  the faces are interesting, but really not pretty.

But I guess they are just amazing to pose.  I guess I'll have a harder time resisting them if they come up with some nicer face molds

Luckily Salli introduced me to the Kingdom Doll dolls- who have much more lovely faces (and who just happen to be able to wear Sybarite clothes...)  :D
