Funny smell on G3s?

I noticed a while back that my baby Tea Lily sort of smelled like rotting eggs. I took this as a note to clean her, which I did, and then everything was fine.

However, the smell has come back, and now it seems a number of my G3s have it. I have no idea why--they've been kept in the same spot for a long time and there's nothing in my room that could be causing them to stink. Plus, our dog is never let in, so it's definitely not dog pee!

What could this be? Is it the plastic breaking down (so soon though?!) or something else???

Have you checked inside the ponies? Were they all from different sources/sellers? Have you recently cleaned their bodies or their hair? Does the plastic get warm during the day?

Lots of questions, sorry!

I dont think its the plastic breaking down it would not happen simultaneously across lots of different ponies and plastic unless seriously in the process of breakdown would not have sufficient bacteria to cause the smell.

Also...is the smell coming from individual ponies or the general area of the ponies?
