The filthiest, most disgusting ponies ever!

I got these from a garage sale several years ago with the intention of restoration. I shoved them under my sink and forgot about them. the people I bought them from said they had found them while digging in their back yard. What do you think, restore or are they too far gone? BTW they are way more filthy than the picture shows.

I think with enough determination and elbow grease, any pony can be restored. 

The call is yours, as restorations can take a lot of time and effort, but I probably wouldn't just throw them away. I'm sure SOMEONE out there would be willing to take them off your hands. (Like me! If you give up on them, I'd totally take them in for restoration )

restore them. they don't look to have any major unfixable damage especially melody. soap and hot water might be all you need to get them clean.

new tail for cotton candy maybe a rehair for banana they will be perfect. 

or like it has being said others might want to restore them. I'd take melody off your hands if you like.

The smooze is strong with these ones... Depends on how much work you are prepared to do, and what your standard of "good enough" is. Personally I love ponies no matter how baity and would never consider them completely unsalvageable. They may never be minty or display worthy, but they'll never be unworthy of a little love and attention.

If you don't want to restore or customise them, I'm sure they will find a welcome home with other people on the arena. So if you don't have the time or motivation you could just play pass the parcel.

I would wash them and customize them I think it's too much work to restore them because they're all so common. You'd spend less buying new ones I would make them into all new ponies

Go at those bodes with a magic eraser~ you might just be surprised. I've cleaned up icky ponies like that a lot and sometimes they have the nicest bodes under all the dirt.

They can be cleaned.  At least they are all ponies who don't have plastic issues normally.  They could clean up fantastically.

I found a bait Gingerbread the other day and paid .27c for her.  Woo!  That was the only good part of my day ( after I found the pony, I won some free whiplash, freaking college kids! )

because she's so manky.  She's colored all over with something that even acetone won't take off, she's brown, and dirty and well, I've put her in peroxide solution to see if she'll sunfade out some.  She is not burning so far, I've checked on her, and her hair is really nice.  If I can't get her to clean up some, I had been thinking that I could use a bait Gingerbread for her gem eyes ( since she has blue gems ) for a custom I've wanted to do.

They look cleanable to me. Soap and water can fix so much! Though if you don't have any knowledge of re-hairing ponies, Cotton Candy may not be perfect.
Medley and Banana Surprise look to me like they simply need a good washing.

Protip: Just plain shower gel and conditioner will make their hair VERY silky!

They look cleanable to me!  A lot of soap, water, magic eraser and conditioner can do wonders. 

I do wonder, though, how the sellers found ponies buried in their back yard.  I never find ponies buried in my backyard.

It is possible they wont be recoverable back to perfection but I would certainly give it a shot. Even if its as a test of different cleaning methods and even an awesome before & after mark over!

I'd try cleaning them up first and go from there.
Sometimes there's hidden stuff under all that grime that doesn't like to come out and then you've got to decide how much time you want to put into restoring as they all are quite common.
However if there's a lot of smooze going on they may not paint the best for customizing then.
Wonder if those were sandbox ponies...

Those look tough and remind me of one I found on old property of my family. I wasn't able to save her though. I regret it sooo much.
I'd say give them a soak and a scrub! Even if you can't save them you have custom bait!

now that's a lot I could spend some time on! I'm seriously addicted to cleaning ponies, I've even been known to throw a towel on my lap and comb conditioner through hair while I'm watching TV... I think they could very well come up beautifully, and you always love ponies that you restore yourself, because they are so beautiful because of all the hard work you put in!
