yeah so nobody really knows what he pony will look like. but knowing hasbro it'll proably be a blind bag.  you know how they  love to   just churn out those little things.

hoping it really willb e a small  G4 brushable Firefly that would be awesome.

Maybe she is a g4 blindbag or maybe the dimensions are off an it could be any size (what I'm hoping for) They could just be describing the book and not the pony.

No its product dimensions rather than just the book. The book is only a handful of pages long so 4.7cm deep for the book would be far too much. They have to be listed correctly for shipping. And the size corresponds to the other small box/books that the publisher has released in the past.

Not a blind bag as the pony is "brushable" and I really don't think it is going to be G4 style tbh.
I'm still hoping for a miniature G1 mould pony - I know the pic is photoshopped but the actual product can't deviate away from it too much can it...?

the product dimensions is the size of the box it comes in.. I'll have to print out a few templates with those dimensions to get a general idea but I'm pretty sure of the size. If the Firefly in the pic is the same style... I'm wondering if they had to have someone recreate a prototype of that pose in a smaller size... because I don't remember them making that pose really in the smaller sizes

The photoshopped image is a stock image released by the company that is making them. It is possible that they don't have the real ponies in their hands as yet.

There has been plenty of retro release merchandise so why not G1 style?

I'm betting it won't be dolly mix style either because the dolly mix ponies were by Teeny which is UK based. These miniature ponies are being sold by Running Press which is American.
