So this is kind of like curling.
You wet the hair with warm water.
Then you do the easy braid (split into three left over middle right ofer middle ect.)
Sucure with a bobby pin (it works better than a hair tie because then you dont loose anything) and let dry (NEVER use a hair dryer it does nothing).
Turn out something like twinkle twirl and jade garden in this picture

Your ponies look great The braiding method certainly works to put a wave into pony hair but unfortunately its not quite right in appearance for the Great Hair, Sundazzle and Rock n Beat ponies - but its a nice approximation. A straw weave gives a better effect, again not the same but closer in style.

lol I actually used to do this to MY hair when I was little for overnight crimping!

I have a crimper... From my days as a 90s kid...

I've used the braid method, if you can do it really tight it can give a "fluffy" crimped effect, but like Cat said, not quite perfect.

I wanted to look like Hermione from harry potter.
Mu haor used to be really long
I have it cut super short now...

Its where you weave the hair through a dozen or so straws [depending on hair length] - like a basket weave with the hair being one direction of the weave and the straws the other, in a criss cross pattern.
