What would I do if...
« on: February 06, 2014, 05:30:34 AM »
I'm a new ebayer (i've used my dad's until now) so I have 1 feedback.. Sold an item, the dude didn't pay for two days so i sent him an invoice to remind him and a message asking him if everything was alright and to please let me know if there were any problems, after no contact i filed an unpaid item case... he finally payed today so i'm shipping it out tomorrow but..
is there any reason he'd be able to leave a negative/neutral, what would I do if he did? I'm really startled by all of this just because i didn't get any contact from him at all..

Hmmm you did everything right. From what you have done he has no reason to give bad or neutral feedback. I don't think he will either. You will have to wait & see what feedback he gives you

I agree with Lollipop, you did everything right. :)

I see no reason, unless they are a complete jerk that they would leave you negative for you opening a UPI case.

If they happen to, I am sure with EBay's new policies concerning feedback, you will most likely be able to have it removed.

I've opened cases against people (and some of them have paid after that, some not) and I've never received a negative or neutral for doing so (though I too am always worried about that  ) If he did though, I think you'd be able to have it removed like Ponylady said :)
