Using hat pins
« on: February 08, 2014, 02:55:15 PM »
I'm actually finishing a MH rehair, but I figured you guys would know more since it seems to be used a lot on ponies. I want I style her hair with the hat pins similar to the way many of you customizer a do your ponies hair.

First I was going I ask for maybe a link to a good supplier for them? I keep finding different ones, and I'm not sure which I should get. Km trying to find a type that is neutral but pretty an can go with my dolls different outfits.

Oh also any good tutorials for working with the pins?

Thanks!

Great question!  I'll be watching this thread so I can learn more, too.  The hair-pinning is so beautiful.  And please, post pictures of your results after you try it!  I would love to see them.
Thank you, brightberry, for my lovely avi.

Do you mean like the twisted hair held in place with pins? Because the pins used on ponies are typically just sewing pins - actual hat pins would be huge XD
