Awesome piece of nostalgia :)

Awww.... takes me back!!   ^.^

Back when I was a kid, I used to keep my pony accessories in this old white bag that used to be my mum's. Not sure what happened, but when my ponies eventually got packed up, my accessories went into the box with them and the old white bag blithely disappeared into oblivion.

Well... what does mum dig up the other day and ask me if I want it?? THE BAG!!!  And I now have a totally different appreciation of it, too. It's so vintage and old school! Turns out it was my mum's traveling toilet bag back in the 60's/early 70's... and eventually turned into my pony bag.

Well, I now have it back again and love it! I just cleaned it up today and of course I put it back to good use!

Were your childhood accessories inside?

I have a similar, but larger case that was my grandmother's in the 50s/60s. It's a charming shade of pea green. :D

Kind of - turned out at my first pony fair, I'd purchased Blueberry Baskets and G***y, and forgotten totally about them, because my house got majorly re-sorted due to a flood.

And then, one day, I was digging through the closet and found them.

I made a high pitched noise.

Aw, cute bag and sweet story!  :)

When I was six, I received Raincurl for Christmas.  She was on display for awhile but when I put away my toys as a teenager, she got put away. . .  But I didn't know where.  I thought I'd placed her in a box.  Anyway, when I got into ponies, I searched for her but couldn't find her.  Then, about about a year ago, I was going through a bag of scraps of material - and there was Raincurl, along with Sundance (who I honestly didn't remember owning.). She got all cleaned up and has a place of pride on my shelves.  :)

Finding my Cotton Candy PJ case at the bottom of a tub of cuddly toys which I had not sorted out. My mum gave all my childhood ponies away when she thought I had outgrown them [to be fair I had not looked at them for about 5 years by this time :P] but I didnt realise Cotton Candy had survived this purge. I was so excited to see her again and so happy to have her back.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Aww... nice stories everyone!  I can totally feel the squees of joy in each one  :)

No, I had put them all with my ponies when they went into storage. I definitely held onto those along with my ponies  ^.^  But they are back in the bag now! Along with all the new stuff I've gathered over my collecting time  ;)
