Cosplayers: Recommendations for cosplay makers?

I'm looking for a cosplay maker to put together a Rainbow Dash Gala dress for me. A friend recommended Cosplay House but they got a lot of bad reviews and when I asked for a quote on a costume, they threw up the costume with my ref pics for sale and flat-out ignored me.

I'm asking Cosplay1 for a quote since their reviews are clean, but I was wondering if anyone else had anyone they like?

You might have better luck asking on cosplay.com.

I'm not a member there, but a friend of mine is. He says it's a great resource for cosplayers.

Why pay someone to make it when you can make it yourself? I don't do much, but I (with help from my mom) made a full suit of clone trooper armor, the only thing we didn't make was the helmet. I feel that making it yourself can save money, not mention getting it to fit properly.

Sorry I cant help you out; when I as able to do it, I made mine myself.

Im sure it wouldn't be too hard to do a dress similar to RD.  It never has to be 100% after all

For the best quality i recommend browsing around on cosplay.com and seeing if there are individuals who are taking commissions :--)
