I made Flutter Wings! How'd I do?

Sorry, I know the pictures aren't the greatest.  Having problems with my camera and lightning...

I decided for my first attempts at making wings to make flutter wings.  I decided to free form them and glued on tabs so they stay nicely.  I've heard some people use something called Gallery Glass on their wings to make them stronger.  Do any wing makers have any advice on this type of thing?  Does it go on the back side?  Should I even use it?  I'm so new to making the wings and have so many questions. :)

Anyway, here are my first attempts at flutter wings replacements!  What do you think?  I think the picture doesn't do them justice.

Any advice?  Like or not like them?  Do you think there is a market for them at the mlpfair?  If there is how much would you expect somebody would pay for them?  Trying to figure out how many wings I should make (just for my self or some to sell at the mlpfair as well).

Those look pretty amazing to me!! Are they expensive/time-consuming for you to make? That seems to be the deciding factor in how much people charge for replacement wings (and whether or not it is profitable enough for them to do so).

For me they are fun to make and are worth the time just so I can enjoy the process of making them. I wanted to make more today but didn't know if I should because just because I like them doesn't mean other people think they look right. Wanted more opinions on them first.

They aren't expensive to make because of how many I can make from a little bit of supplies.

They look very pretty!! My flutters have wings made from plastic soda bottles... that I painted with glittery nailpolish  :blush: :blush: :blush:
These would be a definite step up (to say the least!)!!  :redface: :drunk:

It was the plastic soda bottle wings that made me want to try making wings!  I tried unsuccessfully to make wings from some shiney craft twisted plastic stuff.  It didn't go so well.  I'm not that good at cutting out exact little shapes like that.
