How do I ask in a polite way for my money?

So, the outcome for now is - I have been promised to get paid in february. As I do want to believe it - I will stop nagging now (and start again in february).
And it obviously depends what happens with the other payment. We are keeping track of this.

I'm the other person

I have sent similar messages to what she has sent, but am still awaiting reply on my last message. I truly believe this person is stalling.

I also have an inkling this person owes other people; I am in two minds whether to find them and ask them. I too genuinely believe that this person started out in good honor but has just found it all a bit too much. But they shouldn't be stalling us!

Ugh I'm really quite upset by all of this - I have relied on this money to pay bills, then for Ponycon....I have been left in the poop a couple of times and just want it sorted out to prevent any other people from ending up in the same situation we have been left in

Is this person a member of the PonyCon staff? If so, I think the name needs to come out. It is unacceptable for a con staff to stall on paying for goods received.

No, no. It is noone of the Ponycon Staff.

Basically just another pony person.

I still want to believe it is just the usual real life struggle thing that came in the way - but as I said, we are on to it and let you know.

ok.. so Feb is definitely better than August or later....   Yes please do keep track of it though and if Feb comes with no payment then I think not only  do you need to nag this person some more, but you will also need to let us know who they are. I hope that life just got in their way and that they will pay up in feb as promised this time.
