Guess it depends on what kind of drastic measures you'd be willing to go to!

Annnnnd we're back on topic, look at that.

Congratulations on winning your grail! I'm really glad you won! ^.^

I spent our grocery and bill money once so I could get 2 grail ponies in one day, Ice Crystal and Wave Jumper with her shell. Wouldn't do it again. It was a terrible feeling and then I had to confess to my husband what I did. The look on his face.... But we did finally use up all those cans of tuna and baked beans we'd had in the pantry for ages.
It really wasn't worth it though. It's nice having the ponies I wanted for so long but I wish I'd just waited until I'd saved up for them because when I look at them I can't help thinking of how I hurt my husband because I was too impatient to wait any longer to get them.

Ouch, that's a little bit harsh, Sabrina. I can imagine exactly what you mean about the guilt when you see the ponies. And it's a shame not just because of the guilt but also because it spoils the ponies a bit. Your husband sounds pretty understanding, though! I guess I'm kind of lucky in that if I spend all my food money on ponies, I'm the only one who suffers!

The funny thing is, I mentioned that I told the story on here and he had no idea what I was talking about. Apparently he'd forgotten all about it. He was upset at the time but it was a one time thing so he'd moved on and forgotten about it. Oh man, trust me! I've been beating myself up over that for ages! Lol!
I'm glad you started this thread because otherwise we wouldn't have talked about it and I would still be feeling guilty for no reason. Thanks!
I'm off to admire Ice Crystal and Wave Jumper with no guilt now.

Congratulations Nollilos.
Now that its arrived I can say what I bought my BFF. Thank you Amazon.com, had been watching the site for ages. Hoping it would come up, stopped watching for about six months. On a random hunch I checked it last week and there one was, needless to say I snagged it ASAP.

It's the November 2011 issue of Cowgirl magazine. Featuring singer and actor Chris Kane on the cover. He's been on Leverage and the TV miniseries Into The West. One of my BFFs favorite actors and actual a really nice, down home guy. We saw him in concert at The Graduate in Davis,CA. In 2012.

Back on topic, I haven't run across my grail yet (Wigwam with his head dress, comb, bandanna).  If I do and I have the money, yeah he would be mine. Even if I have to juggle money for awhile.

Awesome! I'm glad it arrived safe and sound.

I recently bought a Wigwam, without any of his accessories - but he himself is in excellent condition, so I'm pretty happy with him. He didn't cost much either! He's quite a lovely pony. He and Tex are my only Big Brother ponies, so I've named them the Lone Ranger and Tonto. XD
