I never knew anything more about Majesty other than she came with a castle.  My friend had her and she was more of a mother figure.  She resolved differences, listened to problems, offered comfort, healed pain and gave wise advice without actually ordering ponies around.  I suppose she was kind of leader, but only when the ponies turned to her for help.  Ponies are naturally loving, fair and well-behaved so laws/punishments weren't necessary.

Majesty had the best name, too. Real thought went into G1 names, like Gusty, Lofty, and Majesty. They didn't just slap "Sparkle" everywhere and say "yeah, that's good enough". Even as a child who maybe didn't have the vocabulary to know what "Majesty" actually meant, the sound of it let you know there was something super special about this particular white unicorn.
